Removing someone from your family hub

Life changes. Sometimes a family member moves out, or circumstances change and it's time to remove them from your hub. Don't worry—it's straightforward, and their data is handled securely.

How to remove a family member

  1. Go to your Family Management or Members section
  2. Find the person you want to remove
  3. Tap their profile and select "Remove member" or "Delete from hub"
  4. Confirm the action (there's usually a confirmation pop-up to prevent accidents)

What happens when someone's removed

Once removed, that person will no longer have access to your family hub. They won't see events, chores, or anything else in your hub. However, their past chore history and points remain in your records for your own reference.

If they had a login, that account will be deactivated for your hub. They'll receive a notification that they've been removed. If they set up their own parent account elsewhere, they can still use it—they just won't be part of your family hub anymore.

Important notes

Only parents can remove members. You can remove yourself from someone else's hub, but removing the primary account holder is trickier—you'd need to delete the entire hub or transfer ownership first. If you're unsure about anything, reach out to our support team.
