Making changes to your subscription
Your needs might change—maybe you're upgrading to unlock more features, or perhaps you want to try a simpler plan. We've made it easy to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription anytime.
How to upgrade your plan
- Go to your account settings
- Select "Subscription" or "Billing"
- You'll see your current plan and available upgrades
- Choose the plan you want to upgrade to
- Review the price difference (you'll only pay the difference)
- Confirm the upgrade
How to downgrade your plan
- Go to account settings and select "Subscription"
- Look for "Change plan" or "Downgrade"
- Select the plan you want to downgrade to
- You might see a warning if you're losing features (e.g., unlimited members)
- Confirm the downgrade
- The change takes effect at your next billing date
Important notes about changing plans
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades usually take effect at your next billing date so you're not caught off guard. If you're on a yearly plan and downgrade to monthly, you'll be refunded the difference fairly.
If you're on the Free Plan and reach the 3-member limit, you can't add more members until you upgrade. Same with other free tier restrictions.
Cancelling your subscription
- Go to your subscription settings
- Select "Cancel subscription"
- You'll see options: cancel immediately or at the end of your billing period
- Let us know why (optional feedback)
- Confirm cancellation
What happens after cancellation?
Your account is downgraded to Free Plan. You keep your family hub and all your data—it's still there! You just lose access to paid features. You can resubscribe anytime and get everything back.
